Over the last nine years the Geography Department has given the Year 13 Geography students an opportunity to travel to Thailand as part of an optional fieldtrip.
In Year 13 Geography students study a topic on Tourism Development. The schools overseas case study for this topic is the tropical island of Phuket in Southern Thailand. In June/July 2008 we intend giving students the option of spending 3 days in Bangkok and five days in Phuket
The students look at two areas of Thailand.
· Urbanisation in a Developing City like Bangkok
· Tourism development in Phuket
